Repairs

K&T Heating Services undertakes all types of repair work such as replacing or repairing boiler parts, radiators and pumps. Please contact us to make a call out appointment or for more information.

The vast majority of repairs carried out by the company are carried out under maintenance contracts; please see Maintenance for further information about maintenance contracts. We also provide a full repairs service to customers who do not have a maintenance contract.

We use a number of systems to assist in the smooth running of our repairs service;

Our database system keeps a history of all repairs, enabling us to identify reoccurring faults and act accordingly to prevent further reoccurrence. From this system we are also able to check for common faults with particular boiler models, helping us to identify and fix faults more quickly and accurately. We aim never to call to the same fault twice.

We utilise a vehicle tracking system from Minorplanet, a primary benefit from this is reduced call times, as we can send the closest engineer to the job.

We use an advanced scheduling system to optimise our workload, one benefit of which is that when a property has multiple appointments, we will try to rearrange the work and have it all carried out in a single appointment whenever possible. This reduces the number of days the customer or tenant needs to take off work.

This all combines to enable us to plan and direct the right staff to jobs quickly and efficiently, saving time & money, which can be used to provide an enhanced and more effective service to our customers.
