Training
K&T Heating Services is proud of its in-house training and
educational discussion groups. We have a continuing program to teach and
instruct all our employees in the latest trends and ideas in the industry and
have at the present time a total of 10 apprentice gas engineers and 3 trainees.
The company’s resident tutor has experience in the gas industry
going back more than 35 years, and boasts many hundreds of young people passing
their qualification exams over the years.
We actively support many training facilities relating to our
business and provide day release for our employee’s to attend and gain
qualifications, recognition and certifications relating to our work. We
maintain a close relationship with these training body’s and organisations,
which we feel is greatly important as the requirements of the qualifications
are constantly changing. We aim to be at the forefront of new and innovative
ideas, producing a well trained workforce capable of moving forward with the
times and complying fully with all legislations.
The company is proposing to offer a training scheme to our local
government employment agency, to help young people get into an industry which
has been neglectful over the past 20 years in attracting new blood. We hope to
provide an innovative approach to this declining practice and gain some respect
from the industry at the same time, whilst introducing qualified operatives
into the trade.
